Key Responsibilities:

  1. 1-on-1 People Management: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with specialists to support their professional growth, address concerns, and provide coaching.
  2. Career Pathing & Performance: Plan, track, and support career development paths. Identify and act on training needs, performance issues, and growth opportunities.
  3. Culture & Wellbeing: Foster a healthy, inclusive work environment. Address and resolve interpersonal or work-related issues.
  4. Narrative Leadership: Collaborate with the Head of Design in shaping the approach, vision, and strategic direction for Narrative Design within the company.
  5. Project & Resource Planning: Coordinate with project leads to ensure efficient resource distribution and support delivery of high-quality game assets.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflow and process improvements consistent with best practices in the gaming industry.

Experience:

  1. Proven management experience (at least 3 years) in a game development environment

People Skills:

  1. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop art professionals.
  2. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
  3. A charismatic, responsible, and engaged approach to work.

Organization:

  1. Strong skills in planning, prioritization, and communication.
  2. Proactive mindset - taking the initiative, solving challenges, and driving solutions.

Narrative Design Background:

  1. Solid understanding of narrative processes and game development pipelines.
  2. Solid understanding of narrative, animation or character art processes and game development pipelines.
  3. Experience with teamwork organizing tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
  4. Industry Insight: Up-to-date with trends and technologies in game development.

Communication:

  1. Fluent in Polish.
  2. C1 in English.

Pluses:

  1. Knowledge of game project development, lifecycles and agile frameworks.
  2. Deep understanding of game development pipelines.
  3. Passion for video games.

Anshar Studios was founded in 2012 and since then worked on dozens of commercially released titles on multiple platforms using different technologies. We employ over 180 skilled professionals and game enthusiasts from the video game industry, which are helping out companies from all around the world to develop their games. Apart from that we also develop games as 1st party – we created Gamedec – an adaptive, isometric, cyberpunk, RPG game. Our VR experiences was closed with the releases of Detached and Telefrag VR.

The studio is also involved in the development of a few undisclosed projects for a group of premium tier developers.
